Offsets
Guys, I am sure this has been discussed 8 million times before but I searched the forum and cant find anything but 8 million opinions.
Narrow body 997, what offset works to push to the wheel edge opening. Just cant stand seeing my wheels/tires tucked in so much. So 45 front looks like will work and is safe, rear 50? 45? I saw someone say use the same offset from a widebody and they will work perfectly.
Thanks

Three Wheelin'
That's my set up on a narrow body car
The front fitment is a 52mm offset 19×8.5 with 8 mm spacer
The rear is a 65mm 19×12 with a 12 mm spacer
You can do the math to compare to your stock wheels. Otherwise just get wide body wheels and add spacers to your liking
choice of tire will make a difference as well, so will your suspension set up
finally when I buy wheels/tires, this website is my best friend

Buddhamonk, thanks so much, covered everything and thanks for the link also. 19x12, seriously? Very nice and I guess thats exactly why your car looks like a wide body because it has a behemouth of a wheel and tire in the back. Great looking car...

Most guys don't want their wheels to extend past the fender lip, so you have to be careful who you ask for recommendations. Do you want aggressive or AGGRESSIVE?
Please note that I am not slamming Buddhamonk in any way. He seems to like very aggressive offsets, so his aggressive offset could be someone else's super aggressive offset.

I have the stock turbo style wheels for NB cars. Offsets are 67 in the rear and 57 up front. 15 mm spacers front and back, effectively making the offsets 52 and 42. The tires still don't reach the edges of the fenders. In my opinion they look perfect!

Off sets depend on wheel width. Also don't go by what GT3 cars use because they use different uprights which also have different offset than Carrera based cars.
If your using stocks lower control arms for street use with stock 19" trie sizes I'd go with 19.8.5" fronts with offset around 48 and 12x19 rears et 48. Plus or minus a few et mm's depends on your taste.
I use 18x9 et47 front and 18x12 et48 rear for my track wheels. I also have GT3 lower control arms with shims added for more negative camber and to push the bottom outward to gain kore front track. This makes turn in much much better.

Saw a photo of your GTS and you've got Center Locks so you can't add spacers...you will need new wheels.

front looks gt3'esque normal....rear tire looks to extend past fender well and thats what the posts were probably about...the rear is ultra aggressive as its past the body of the car.

Just ordered wheels for my NB C2S from Forgestar. This is what they recommended and what I've seen posted here before. This is for a LOWERED car and brings them out to the edge nicely, without spacers...
19x8.5 Front ET46
19x11 Rear ET52
Hope that helps.
