Buddhamonk, what size tires do you have on fronts and rears please. 235/35 front and 305/30 rear?
That's my set up on a narrow body car
The front fitment is a 52mm offset 19×8.5 with 8 mm spacer
The rear is a 65mm 19×12 with a 12 mm spacer
You can do the math to compare to your stock wheels. Otherwise just get wide body wheels and add spacers to your liking
choice of tire will make a difference as well, so will your suspension set up
finally when I buy wheels/tires, this website is my best friend

Budd, nice look but too bad Oregon still requires front license plates! And re 12" rear wheels on 305 tires, I know Porsche does that on the GT3 997.1 cars but 325s work much better and are infact the tire size on GT3RS 997.2 and the GT2! Just saying

Whew
I was a little worried untill I read this post.
Narrowbody 997
Just bought used rims 8.5 offset 45 front, 11 offest 65 rear.
I may have to add a 7 - 10 mm spacer on the rear to match the front.
I really thought the 8.5 offset 45 was going to be too much for the fronts. Esp compared to my stock 8 offest 57.
But the info on this post, I think its the right wheel for the car.
Does the tire width make any difference to where the tires will finally sit with regards to the frame. Will 305's move the tire out that much more than a 285? On the same rim?

Front Wheel: 8.5JX20" ET 53mm
Rear Wheel: 11.0JX20" ET 58mm
Champion
Makes the wheels I have for the 997 and it's a great offset with no need for spacers. My car is on stock suspension.
10mm up front and u should be fine ...

(Need to triple check).
The ride is fantastic. Champion makes a top notch wheel and light weight.

I bought used Champion RG5's
The offsets seem a little much.
My stock 997's are 18 x 8 offset 57 front
18 x 10 offset 58 rear
The champions are 18 x 8.5 offset 45 front
18 x 11 offset 65 rear
The fronts will be pushed out about 18 mm
The rears will be pushed out about 5 mm.
I think I will need to add 10 mm spacer on the rears?

Hi... sorry...
Can anyone comment on my new wheel setup.
Will I need to add a spacer on the rears so they match the fronts? Or will they look ok? The rear offset seems a tad high and the front offsets seem a tad low.

I have 19x8 et45mm & 19x11 et55mm & it sits flush with the fenders. I would say yes that a 10mm spacer is needed which would change your offset to 55mm to match your front.
