Default Lobsters Installed ...

I know a lot of folks don't like these wheels, but I think they look awesome on the car.

They are great wheels! Very strong and the lightest of their generation (I believe the S2 wheels -my avatar) are slightly lighter! I didn't & dont enjoy cleaning the wheels tho! Awesome looking car!

I think the forks are nice, and I bet in the future they'll be timeless classics, and the haters may become "purist converts" - I think they are distinctly Porsche and suit the car very well.

Enjoy em!

Nice! I didn't like the lobster forks on my 997 when I first got it and started looking for wheels to replace them. Now they have grown on me and I really like the look on the T4S

I heard that the lobster forks make great boat anchors!

I love the look of the lobsters, too. I'll bet more of the Porsche designers' time went into that one than any of the others 997.1 wheels offered.

Classics are a lot easier to clean, though

I like the lobster forks and Harvey just happens to capture the rare slant nose driving by in the back ground while showing us his new wheels.

I have the factory black lobsters with silver lip and they are very easy to clean. In fact I can fit my entire hand through the openings so I'm able to keep the inside of the rims (and the calipers) as clean as the outside. From a distance my wheels harken back to the old school Fuchs look. I love em'.

I find tham easy to clean and found a foam brush that fits perfectly in the fork holes and the center holes. A spray down with wheel cleaner foam and a brush does the trick.
