brought the car to the dealer. Chris had the the dealership CPO replace the CF dash trim once in June. I noticed yesterday the same thing is happening. How many guys have had this problem with that CF dash trim piece?

known issue also on 997- my 997T had issue with CF defrost trim pulling up & also with CF steering wheel delaminating in one place when i bought it last yr- orig owner had defroster trim replaced/repaired twice under factory warranty- Mine had CPO & i had steering wheel replaced under CPO- Some here have also had the defroster trim replaced under CPO by dealer- i decided to just buy the full leather defroster trim w/o the CF & installed it myself- leather & stitching matches rest of dash perfectly-

i bought a set of defroster trim from ebay with warped carbon pieces,somehow made a printed piece in a copy machine and had a machine shop make aluminum pieces with aqua cut machine...perfect, then had to bend them ever so gently to fit the curve of the dash, painted matt black and... gotta say they are ok, and the black foits just fine against the nat brown... ta daa...
