Buy a New Carrera, or change the color?

^ good topic.....certainly no troubles with my front end PPF over last two years, wash, quick detail. With coloured wrap, is it the same film with colourant or is there a difference in durability when compared to PPF?

Same here, for $2K, you can have 1/3 of your car wrapped. There isn't a lot of people doing it here and I would be afraid to be the guinea pig.

Drifting
I was quoted 2500 for my suburban, flat black 3M. Yes fast and furious.
My friend had his truck vandalized, a wrap, was one of the options for a repair.
Painting a perfectly good car vs wrap, I would go for wrap.
2-3k for a wrap vs 8-10 for a paint job? That would help me decide too.
To me, you have a fantastic colour.
o/p You're bored, go clay bar and wax it. Don't screw your car up....
Leave the screwing up of your car to the inconsiderate others in the parking lot.

Hey Smoke...did you wrap / paint the wing black recently? I saw this on the 2015's and love the look.

Burning Brakes
I vote for a wrap also. Just be careful. Vinyl is harder to clean than smooth paint. It also stains depending on the color. Make sure you get quality vinyl. My buddy had his RS4 wrapped in white and the white vinyl started to stains in the rear from muffler smoke. He ended up taking the wrap off in less than a year.

Great discussion, I think I'll leave the keys in it somewhere in Miami and get the color I want as a replacement. Not really!
I may have to do some wrap, such as hood and front end, etc. Got a little high speed Knicks. Carbon fiber hood wrap could help.
