New Porsche 991s have 3.4L engines?
I was looking on the Circle Porsche website and most of the new 2014 and other newer models of 991 or 911 etc. have the H6 3.4L engines. It this engined specifically modified for the 991s? I am looking to put an engine in my 2006 C2S which had an H6 3.8L PASM engine in it. I wonder if a 3.4L would go into the C2S with no heartaches.

PASM refers to suspension, not an engine. As far as engines go, yes, the base model C2 and C4 991's utilize a 3.4; horizontally opposed 6 cylinder.
The "S" and "GTS" 991 models use a 3.8l, however.

I mentioned the PASM becasue the engine brain has somewhat of a relationship to the feature (via engine harness). Some have even said to not use it or disable that button. Any thoughts?

I suspect that there would be significant challenges to this type of project. Anything is possible if you spend enough money, but you will have a greater chance for success finding a 997.1 engine. I think you may even have trouble installing a 997.2 engine. These types of replacements are rarely (if ever) plug and play.

A 991 3.4 litre not a "modified engine".
It's a complete new engine and transmission combo and I doubt very much you could mate this to a 997 tranny.
As for PASM, (Porsche Active Stability Management) is suspension only.
If you have the "Sport" mode button, it is engine mapping as well as suspension control. And they can be activated independently of each other.
