Default Window tint

Hi

Wondering if anyone in the Denver area could recommend a place to have my windows tinted.

Also, if anyone has an opinion on the different types of film... Like are the metallic or "platinum" films worth the extra money?

Thanks for the help

When I lived in Denver I used these guys to tint two 997's and a Tahoe. Very satisfied.

I got mine at http://www.sunsationtint.com/, he operates at his home garage and price is negotiable, he's been in business for a long time. I'm happy with his work, it's lifetime warranty.

I studied window tints for a BMW I had and a lot of people thought Huber-Optic was the best so I travelled over 100 miles one way to get it. Seemed fine until I drove at night and saw double when looking through the rear view mirror and I hadn't been drinking ! I hated that. Turns out that is a problem with that tint so I would say no the fancy tints aren't worth the money, at least Huber-Optic nanoceramic wasn't for me.

I've had Huper Optik on 2 997's - never had an issue with visibility out the rear. Film is a little thicker than most and it takes longer to cure and it is more difficult to install. Maybe the install guys were the issue??

A friend had it on his MB E63 AMG with same problem and an expert said it occurs on some rear windows because of the defroster wires.
