Introduction to the 997 Forum
I am not new to Rennlist and have been a member for several years, but I am new to the 997 group as I sold my 1995 993 C2 three weeks ago. I am now the very excited owner of a 2011 Carrera 4S Dark Blue Metallic with Tan interior and PDK. It has 11,600 miles on the clock and she came from California just last week.
I have been lurking on the 997 forum for a few weeks now and I am looking forward to all of your knowledge and suggestions.
My first Porsche was a 1987 Carrera. It was Marine Blau Metallic with the Tan (yellow) interior. I am so glad to have another Blue over Tan back in the garage! I purchased the 1995 993 6.5 years ago and loved that car. I made several mods to those cars, but as yet have not decided what specific mods to make to this "new" car. I ordered the clear side marker lights and they just came in the mail this afternoon.

Burning Brakes
Gonna be hard to get that air cooled rumble...the water jackets absorb lots of sound. I just came from a 964 with a cat delete and a cup pipe. Less mechanical noises more ripping canvas noise.
