Sooooo.....the connector is in a different place on a factory X51 car as opposed to a car with PSE?

Yeah, it's in a different place. The photo I posted is correct for you, my car is an 06 factory X51.

Great, thanks - I thought I was going insane from the other photos posted, as I couldn't find that connector for the life of me!!

my car is also X51 and i have the connector disconnected as well, i hook it up once in a while and cycle the valves a few times to keep them loose, or whatever, i can imagine they might rust or just seize up from lack of movement at some point....i don't know what the purpose of them shutting down the open valves during acceleration is, but the explanation proffered makes sense, i was told that it has something to do with noise abatement here in deutschland, also could be...whatever it is, i like the sound of always open ... much mo betta... like i said, love those X51's

It's an accessory under drive pulley. You can look it up on the RSS website (www.roadsportsupply.com)

Love the 'pure' Euro look, without the bumperettes!

Some autumn photos, although maybe a week or two too late, a lot of the nice leaves had been blown away!

Got bored of the 'World is Flat' sticker pretty quickly, so I got rid of it. Put a Kimi sticker in its place:

And some photos the other day in the morning sun. Days are getting shorter! Car will be tucked away for the winter soon.

You people spent the money on X51?

The first thing I do after starting the car is push the sport button.

Agree the car looks wicked but minor changes make a huge difference, like LED lights
