997 Mileage Check II
#3
'05 997 C2. 55,644 (LN IMS retrofit in 2011 @ ~32K but OEM IMSB was perfect). A few issues, all covered under CPO or B2B extended warranty thus far. Main annoyance right now and for the past 2 years has been continual spewing of sticky foam debris from the HVAC outlets. Was told by several mechanics it would eventually stop, and it did for a while but started up again. I keep a pair of long tweezers in the glove box to pluck the pieces that get stuck behind the louvers. Preferable to getting it on my clothes or in my mouth.

2008 Targa 4S, got it last week with 19,000 miles and already put 200 miles on it. Loved every single one of them (especially the fast ones). Heading up to VT today for the Ascutney Hill Climb

2010 with 43,300 and is my daily driver too. Oil changes every 5k, did the PDK oil change @ 40k (recommended at 60k). Got my eye on a '13 991S so not sure I will see 50k

43,600. The last 4-5 months have been heaven. I think by end of November she'll be in hibernation -- put away with fresh oil and some fuel treatment.
Going to enjoy some Fall runs through PA, NY and New England before then... and she'll probably have about 45,000 miles on her when all is said and done.

Early 05 997 with the external IMS. Just replaced the clutch and put in a LN ceramic bearing. Replaced the water pump and coolant reservoir. A little over 79K on the dial...getting her ready to go until 500K. Overall, I've enjoyed the car immensely....outside of the stupid soft touch interior paint that drives me crazy. Considering adding copious amounts of leather just to avoid the soft touch paint damage issues.

89,300 miles on my 2009 Targa4 - I wonder if anyone on here has more miles on a .2 car! The car runs like a champ. We have a dyno-day tomorrow so I'm really curious to see if its still making close to advertised power. It sure feels like it is!
