Default Labor hours for install

I purchased Tubi exhaust from another rennlister. Now I am looking into installation options. The first shop I reached out to is quoting 4 hours to install Tubi (at 110 per hour) and 3 hours to install EVOMSit tune. This seems a little high. For comparison, dealer install of Dinan stage 2 tune on my BMW 550 was 1.5 hours (although they did end up spending most of the day on it). Is the quote I am getting reasonable?

As the exhaust is designed to be dropped for a lot of services. I can't see that amount of time to do the job?
I have never dropped the exhaust myself, but it has been done twice in twenty month of ownership.

The exhaust should be 2 hours maximum for a 997.2. You don't have to remove the bumper, just the rear wheels.

I'm pretty sure it didn't take me much more than 2h in my driveway, so I'd think a pro with a lift should be able to do it in 1.

Search tubi exhaust sound and you'll find some examples already posted.

Anybody charging more than 150 bucks to install mufflers is a thief in my book.

I was charged $185.00 for installation at an Indi shop. It took a little less than two hours.

This! And even if you do have to take off the rear bumper, it shouldn't take more than 2.5 hours if it's a good installer
