GTS Centerlocks
Did the GTS Centerlocks come in a silver finish? If so, anyone have a set they'd like to swap for a black set. All-black is a bit much for me even after just one week of ownership.

Yes, they did come in silver and I have seen them on black cars and I think they do look better than the black on black. I can't help you with a trade however because I have the black ones on my white GTS.

Suncoast just listed 4 silver OEM sets for around $3200 each (no tires) but they sold out. You can get a set from them including summer or winter tires for around $5800. They also pop up on Ebay from time to time but make sure you get a set in perfect condition.
The silver-on-black look is terrific IMHO.
I've often thought it would be nice to have a spare set. If I had the GTS4, I would definitely have two sets - one with summer and one with winter tires. A little harder to justify with my RWD GTS. In any case, think carefully before selling your existing set. Depending on how long you plan on keeping the car, you may want them in the future...

OK, I've located a set of silver OEM GTS wheels, but if I buy these, would need to sell mine. Any market out there for (black) GTS wheels? How much are they going for?

I wouldn't buy used CL wheels without a thorough inspection first. They have to be removed from the car and cleaned. Check the conical surfaces and inside face for damage. There is a document from Porsche that indicates what is acceptable wear and what is damage that requires replacement of the wheel.

These are from a local guy who I trust implicitly. He had a GTS, and like with most of his cars, had 2 sets of wheels. Hell, he even has two CL torque wrenches! But thanks for the caution.

My black GTS with stock oem silver wheels.
Only after market to sell GTS center locks is to another GTS owner or Turbo owner. Very limited market and they don't sell for much either. Actually the oem wheels are heavy and people want lighter weight forged wheels anyway.

Mike, I don't know about the weight of the stock GTS CL wheels, but I do think they are forged.

I had some OZ 19" and Forgeline 19"....lighter and better wheels...I was going to use as track wheels but went back to 18". I should have kept the Forgeline for street wheels. Honestly I'd rather use 18" for the street...my 245/305 Nitto NT01 track tires on my OZ wheels look much more sporty and muscular than the stock 19".

Sounds like the OP found his wheels but just FYI, Suncoast just listed 3 sets of brand new silver OEM RS Spyder centerlocks for $3K a set (they had 4, now have 3, since i just picked up a set). No affiliation with Suncoast on my part except the ridiculous amount of coin I spend there...
