Default Error 8023

Tried the durametric after 6 months of no problems. Just wanted to see if there is anything there though i feel there are no faults. There were faults all over the place. Mainly on comfort stuff. But there was an unknown pdk error. I proceeded to erase all faults, started the car a couple of times and checked again. No faults...except for 1. Fault 8023 ac/recirc flap motor.... Over here the ac is almost always in recirc mode as pollution comes in to the car if not in recirc mode. Everything seems to work fine...what is this then..anybody care to share their insight. Thaks bros

never heard of it. with something as specific and obscure as that, it might be hard to find a tech outside of a stealership that would even know the answer. my vote is to ignore it if there is no issue or symptom you can see. Otherwise if you're OCD ( ) your best bet is to get a good rapport with a dealer tech, maybe get a free diagnosis. if not, you may just have to bite the bullet and pay $125 diagnosis fee or however much they charge.

obviously one of flaps for ac air ducts got stuck. try to find it and move/lubricate it, may be motor is alive but flap itself is stuck. if not, replace the motor.

What i did was to open and close the flap. I felt it moving as the airflow sound changed everytime i pressed it off and on. Tried to reset agian and all faults were erased.
