Do you know if this works fr UK cars or is it just US cars. Mine doesn't seem to work.
Any ideas. I did use capitals and the zero.

If the link jhbrennan game you didn't work (it looks like it may be US and Canada only), then Suncoast has a VIN decoder page at http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...newproductpage
They charge a $10 fee and there is a little delay (maybe until the next weekday?) for them to get it to you, but it is pretty thorough.
