Oldest New Porsche?

Just curious -

What is the oldest new Porsche anyone has come across? By that, I mean a never-titled leftover.

here's a 2011 (6K off MSRP) what a deal!

In 2010, I purchased a new 2008 911s cab . I bought it for 25,000 under the sticker. The sticker on it was 109,000. That was from a Porsche dealership.(never titled)

Sometimes Porsche sends cars very late to the states, and there is an example. I did eventually trade it in for a 2012 9114s cab, but it was a great car also.

wrt the 2011 ... just tell em Russell sent you ...

On the other hand, 25k off msrp sounds pretty good for a 2 year old car with no miles and full warranty. I'd do that in a heartbeat.

Saw a new 2013 Panamera Hybrid with an original MSRP of $109 listed for $79k...

Where is this Panamera Hybrid?

Not a Porsche, but last year (2013) I saw a 2008 Honda S2000 (last year they made them) that was being sold by a Honda dealer as a new car with rooughly 2k miles.

The story I got was that the owner of the Honda dealer took it home with dealer tags and he drove it on occassion over the 5 years. It was listed at MSRP bc it was a somewhat desireable car that was out of production, dealer said they wouldnt budge on price and it disappeared from their website after a week or two so I assume they sold it near MSRP.

As far as 6k of MSRP for a 997, this forum is full of examples where people got better deals than that in the year before the model year of car... so I would assume its worth 20k off MSRP.

In Jan 2007 there was a new 2005 Carrera GT on the showroom floor at Herb Chambers Porsche. It had some miles on it. I think Herb had been driving it.
