Remove the driver's side headlight and you should see a black hose for the headlight washer. Right behind the headlight there are two parts of the hose which are connected via a quick connector.
I would guess that it got disconnected and now it's leaking washer fluid

Here's a nice picture: http://gallery.rennlist.com/gallery/album430/IMG_1981
Any chance you still have that picture and can repost it? Also is a 991 much different than the 997?

I had to take the bumper off my car to fix the center radiator space insert, so took the opportunity to fix this. I bought a new headlight washer unit ahead of time (may not have been necessary) and reconnected it. Seems to have fixed everything. Headlight washer works and leaks seem to have been quelled.

Has anyone had a leak from the right side of the car? After I put a gallon of fluid in the tank, it started leaking from the right side.

if you are sure that it is washer fluid, it is either the hose to the right side windshield jet, which is accessible from underneath the plastic cowl in the frunk, or the right side headlight washer which is only accessed from either the front of the fender well or behind the bumper.

maybe the headlight washer hose popped off it's nipple...
