Default TPMS on the fritz - Sensor Recommendation?

A month ago the TPMS started to act up a tad. Now they are toast as the cold weather has set in. Makes sense as these are likely orignal from 2006 and the batteries struggle with the cold.

Any recommendations on good replacements?

Got mine at Discount Tire, they will deal on OEM units. I believe Beru was the brand made in Germany, $300 with the new stems in silver. No installation charge as I purchased new tires at the same time. Make sure you get the correct frequency, my 2009 was not the same as a friends earlier car.

Just a suggestion: before you replace them, go down into your Info center on your dash and find the TPC area, make sure you are set for light load, summer or winter tires, and then reset the sensors. This last month when the weather went cold all of a sudden I've got the TPC warning light on and it's reading low pressure in the drivers side rear. I manually check the pressures and they're all 100%. Did the above fix, 2xs, and then voila - all back to normal. Check it out. It may work. Then again, you're car is the age for battery replacement.

Do these work on 2008 and earlier cars? I'm looking for a set since what I have now (2009+) does not work on my car.

Did you get the ones in the link above for $180? Did they ship them quickly? On the page it says can take up to 10 business days.

Wow. Thanks guys.

Zeus993, tried reset and no luck. Even yesterday's 50F temp in Chicago didn't help.

Do any of you guys have a feeling for the battery life of the after market sensors? I just complained about the price of OEMs and the dealer said they looked into aftermarkets but they say the aftermarkets only last 2 years compared to the OEMs they say last 5 years.

My OEWheel sensors still show 80 months left per the Durametric Pro tool. Installed them 7 months ago.
