Winter Floor Mats - WeatherTech
Bought a set of WeatherTech - DigitalFit winter floor mats and they fit 'like a glove'. They are made of good quality material, will see how long they last but they seem perfect if you're driving the P-car in the winter.
Am planning on cleaning all the carpeted area, spraying it with Scotch Guard before putting down the floor mats. A monthly cleaning (I don't drive much) of the interior should keep it in good shape and prevent any salt or water damage. Any other thoughts, ideas from the experts? |
The Best Winter Mats I have ever had. I do not drive the Porsche in the winter so I did not buy them for the 911, but it is the first thing I buy for my daily drivers. I use them all year, my interior carpets are Brand New even after 5 years.
They used to make them with Porsche Script instead of the Weathertech Sticker, might be able to find a set if you search. |

Bought direct from Weathertech.. I think they're overpriced at ~$186.95, but no regrets. Nice quality and a perfect fit! Has anyone priced them from Partsource?

Your photos don't show it but do those mats have the huge WeatherTech badge attached to them. A little too much for me.

It is one of the first items I buy for our cars. I have one set in my land cruiser for the last 15 year. The carpet below is still new. This is my hunting/fishing/camping truck, so it has seen a lot of weather. They are so good BWM rebadges them and sell them as their own.

The latest version have a WeatherTech logo that is glued on and easily removable, one of mine came off during shipping and was stuck to the middle of the mat so not a big deal but they fit great. They are moulded to fit the foot-well of the specific car and instead of being flat on the edges they have sides that keep the water & snow contained.

Bought used Weathertech mats and an outside car cover. I have weathertech's in all my other cars as well. They fit very nicely, as expected. The car cover? I guess I will use sometime. Ex Porsche owners seem to keep their stuff immaculate. Rust and corrosion? My used car has spent eight years, running all year round. I have cleaned and scrubbed it. Everything seems to be galvanized or aluminum. It is now in a heated garage and cleaned regularly and fully service as she always has been. Like a once cold outdoor mutt, she is very appreciative being inside.

Snow started to fall -
However, I am ready. WeatherTech, $167.95 delivered.

I have these in our SUV, and like them very much. When new, they have a shine/gloss that makes them slightly slippery, but this diminishes quickly with use. Nice to know that the WT logo is removable.
