I personally think they look wrong--too small, but you are more interested in snow or winter driving, performance, so just live with it!

too small, u r right. any rim below 19" looks too small on that body.

but, here in munich u can reach minus 10 degrees, and then u r happy with more rubber comfort ;-)

for summer i have the 19" carrera II rims, i love them!

best, marxair

18 inch looks small on the 997... but for winters imo they are perfect.

I have those wheels on my C2S Cab for my dedicated winter tires. Ran 265/40s in the back for a few years, and the car could not get grip in deep snow (unplowed, greater than 4 inches). Decided to go narrower all around this winter with Bridgestone Blizzaks, so running 225/40s up front and 255/40s in the rear. Amazing! The 9997 can now hang with most SUVs. We have far too many days when I need to get to Salt Lake City and the plows have yet to come out...

If you get the spacers for front and rear, it makes the wheel look better on the car. I would prefer to have 19 inch wheels, but stayed with the classics.
