New member glad to join!
Hi everyone, I am a first time Porsche owner. I had the fortune of finding an '08 Carrera C4S with only 3700 miles on it and a 6MT. It was very well kept by the previous owner and like new. I am having a blast driving it so far
The handling and acceleration provide go-kart like fun! I do not have sport chrono or PSE but it does have PASM. The stock exhaust is growing on me but i am going to change the wheels which should arrive this weekend. My previous car was an E46 '06 competition package M3 with SMG which I really enjoyed but this Carrera is truly an exhilarating experience so far. I can't wait to really get a feel for the car's handling characteristics. Anyway , I look forward to enjoying my ride for a long time to come and learning alot on these forums from all of you!

I also came from an E46 M3 with SMG and am totally happy with my 997 purchase!
Did you get a manual or auto? I went with a 6speed manual and couldn't be happier. Congrats and awesome car!

Welcome and congratulations on the new ride, looks fantastic!
I would like to hear your initial thoughts between the two cars, your old e46 and the 997.
When I was a kid, that e46 m3 was the hero car of the day and I've always had a soft spot for it and may get one second hand in years to come........

Welcome to RL and congrats... Great example of an C4S. I came from an highly modified E36 M3 supercharged to a '08 C2S. Same HP delivery but the handling/balance of the Carrera is something else all together. Enjoy the new ride!

I use mine as a DD and every time in get in and start it up, I get a great big smile on my face. Enjoy and welcome.
