Anyone optioned one of these out? Looks like it would be a nice daily driver...

Really like the red interior in the pics. Brand new ones lease for $319 per month...not bad.

Haven't driven the S, but I had a 300 as a rental recently and was actually pretty impressed. Never really paid them much attention before, but after a week of driving one I'd say it would make for a good DD.

They're nice, roomy, smooth, comfortable cruisers. I have only driven the V-8, though. That one in the pics looks nice and I agree that the red on black looks sharp. I wouldn't kick one out of bed.

Not sure what the S is all about, but we got a free upgrade to one on a trip to FL last Spring. I was actually REALLY surprised what a nice car it was! It looked really nice, the interior was sharp (for what it is), had decent power, was very smooth and quiet yet slightly sporty. I would have no problem owning one. I do like the sportier interior on this one! The only thing I never got used to was the shifter and the way it operates...by bumping it rather than actually clicking it into a gear....and the video game dashboard. BUT, I only drove it like 4 days.

Seems like a nice ride. Would not own one myself, as I'm not a fan of the exterior. My top choice for a daily driver will still be one of the Japanese brands. Reliability comes first for me. The new Lexus GS is awesome.

They sell these here in Australia and they are mostly used as Airport transfers (town-car style).
They are cramped in the back seat and IMO have a fairly cheap and tacky interior.
The drivers tell me they are not particularly reliable.
The looks I guess are a matter of opinion and taste but from my perspective they are a throwback to the ugly cars of the late 70's and early 80's.

I would never buy an American car.
Not because they are still incredibly crappy anymore, but because American car companies spent 40+ years knowingly making crap and peddling it off as gold. They ignorantly squandered their huge post-WWII lead because of hubris, greed and stupidity. And when the **** hit the fan, they abandoned their responsibility, cried like little little girls and then left the taxpayers holding the bag to clean up their mess.
Personally I'd never do business with anyone who acts in such a way.
On another note, most American cars still feel and look cheap and probably still are. No thanks.

It's a Chrysler. Reliability is questionable. The styling is tired. It's a rental lot queen. Many other vehicles are more interesting as daily drivers. I'd pass.
