A Pair of modded 997.2 C4S with TechArt Type III Wing @ SharkWerks
I get asked this from time to time so I figured I'd post it... Here's a pair of recent gen2 997 C4S _with_ the TechArt Type III wing installed. I tried to get a bunch of angles on both a black and white one,,,,
This black on black 2011 997.2 C4S came into us for a complete overhaul. For performance we added the full Tubi Exhaust and EVOMSit software. We then added a TechArt Type III rear tail and some RSS wheel spacers to the front and rear.
On the lift she goes:
Off with all the mufflers:
The goodies awaiting installation:
The three-piece Tubi Exhaust system installed and EVOMSit software tuned for 91 octane:
The TechArt dual-oval tips add a nice touch:
Although the stock wheels in this case are aesthetically pleasing the offset leaves a lot to be desired. The 7mm front and 15mm RSS spacer kits push the wheels back out toward the fender as they should be.
Spacers installed:
You can see how the wheels are now pushed out more aggressively towards the fender:
The rear TechArt Type III wing is installed:
A few more angles:
Ready to go home:
This daily driver 2009 white 997.2 C4S came into get a more aggressive rear-end in the form of the TechArt Type III rear fixed wing.
In she comes with the stock tail:
Removing the stock motor and insert is required before fitting the TechArt unit:
Installed and ready to go home:

Besides the shape and the size (not too big) I like that when mounted you can still see the original rear deckled slats!
I checked the pricing...man steep! Very cool though!

Hi Tom, it's $2950 -ish. Figure a couple of hours to install and then paint.
Danke!
Cheers!
Sure does fit in there to the factory locations. You have to just set the car to an "Aerokit" fixed wing set up is all.
