2009 C4S Coupe Market Price
Hi All,
I’m looking at a 14k mile 2009 997 C4S coupe manual transmission car. It's Arctic Silver, black interior. Low optioned car – heated seats, sat radio. Private party sale asking $65k. No warranty. Car is a three owner car in Pennsylvania, clean CarFax, complete service records, mint condition, and will go through a PPI at a Porsche dealership before purchase.
What do you think is a fair price?
Thanks

That sounds like dealer pricing not private. I'd be looking for somewhere around $60 without warranty. A warranty for that adds a few thousand more.
No trade, sales tax, warranty ....you'll be up around $70K or more when said and done.

I don't see the price that high since it's a C4S and it only has 14 k miles.

As a price reference one of my co-workers secured an '10 C2S cab loaded with every option we could think off except PCCB for $71K from a p-dealer in the bay area with original warranty(2 yrs) and CPO. It was such a near mint example that the Indy he took it too did not want to charge him for the PPI. It was also a single owner car. GL with the search but there may be another one out there waiting for you.

I just bought a PRISTINE 09 C2S, 13k miles, Manual, PSE, Sport Chrono, Power Seats, and bunch of other stuff and a CPO for 2 years for $61,900, private party. No way would I personally try to save $10k by buying a high mileage car. Not after seeing what I got for the money, essentially a brand new car. I went through the process, started looking at 06's and began working my way up with that "well, if I spend another $10k I can get..." I was looking at GT3's at one point and I had just stop and buy the RIGHT car when it came along. I still walk in the garage and can't believe I FINALLY own a 911.

your car (and car deal) sounds awesome. any photos?
totally agreed re getting a low milage one as possible. my car had <15k miles and it was like NEW. the interior had not a single mark.

I would try to get it for $60K max. The Fact it has so few options is a big minus IMO, it is rare for a C4S to be stripped, this car will be hard to sell.

What do you guys consider high miles for a 2009? I would be cautious on buying a car with very low miles, specially a 911 that is meant to be driven!!! You don't want to buy a 911 that sat for too long.

To the OP... you asked about the deal so you're going to get a LOT of opinions from "just buy it if you like it" to "hold out for the best price in the history of used 911's". The only thing I regret about this purchase is having not done it a YEAR ago. If you've driven a few of them then you're already 90% there and get it and won't be able to live with yourself until you purchase one. We have virtually NO used 997's here in KC, .1 or .2 cars...just none hardly ever. For comparison our local dealer has a 2008 C2S Black, medium options $59k...and that's the ONLY used 997 they have. If my car were at that dealer, they would have had it $73k and would get very close to that price. I waited out a few and they never got anywhere close to the national "decent price" range. If a car this nice had popped up locally, dealer or PP, for $65k, I would have probably bought it anyway because it was in my lap. So I guess I'm in the camp of "I'd pay a couple of thousand more for the right car" especially if I could see it and drive it before hand. I did neither and got lucky it all panned out.

I agree 100% if it is exactly what you want do not let a couple grand stop you from buying it. I would still shoot for $60K because I think it will be a tough sell for the owner due to lack of options, but if it has the options you want that is all that matters.
