Will you buy another Porsche?

When the 997 GTS cars come down to $50k in a couple of years I'll probably grab one to keep for a long time. I can't justify picking one up for $75k right now. One thing for sure is that there's always low mileage clean examples out there of any 911. I don't mind the age, just makes them cooler.

interesting... most here are looking towards newer models and i have decided to move backwards to something more visceral and raw. Porsche purchase #6 is already in the works and it's air-cooled. the 997 was just too composed, too well-mannered and the ceilings were too high for day to day driving. having owned an RSA, the 997 just didn't give me the same sensations that the 964 always did. memories are always romantic. therefore, yes to the overall question, but in a rearward manner. doubtful i'll ever buy anything other than an air-cooled Porsche again - unless it's another 928 or possibly a GT3.

^Seems to me that the new Coxster S would be the closest car to that 964 RSA. Similar proportions, well somewhat...more so than the 997/991, safer for daily driving than a 20 year old car, under 2,900lbs., better handling and if you want tighter more visceral... Capristo and so many other aftermarket options.
Or call BGB and ask for 3.8L turn key Coxster S. People whinged about the price and I'm dumbfounded as to why. It's checking all the boxes that any Porsche street car can. People talk about missing the heritage, well the new Carreras are grand tourings and that's mostly certainly not the Carrera heritage of the 60, 70's and 80's.
p.s. I love how BGB did the 3.8L swap after Porsche gave them no support for the 24.

Maybe...
I am not sure on Porsche direction in general, it is losing a LOT of its soul, and my next Porsche purchase will not be a new model for sure, would be either a 997 GT3, or maybe a 993? Definitely not 991, nor Panamera.

I can't imagine life without a Pcar so 'yes'. But Porsche hasn't released anything that's enticed me enough to replace my 997 so she stays for the foreseeable future. Same for my 955.

Three Wheelin'
I am enjoying weekly weekend breakfasts with fellow Porsche enthusiasts. Recently sold my first 911 ,a 2009c4s with PDK. Still have a 2007 GT3 that I use mainly on the track and weekends and wife still has her 05 manual Boxster. Did order a C7 corvette stingray manual 7 speed Z51 for DD and occasional track toy. But not really abandoning my attraction to Porsches. Visited Stuttgart last year for museum and factory.
