Maybe a used boxster Spyder, new cayman s, or boxster s. The 991 was too aloof for me. Maybe a 997GT3.2 with 5 lug redo. So far Porsche still makes a car the way I would. And, you can still go from the showroom to the track.

Probably and reluctantly. I love the cars but detest the brand's corporate culture. The arrogance towards loyal customers is hard to swallow imo. (IMS fiasco, My poor car thread for references). For the next car, the 991 feels like a modern version of the 996 to me so I'll pass, hoping for a 991.2 that cleans things up like the 997 did for the 996. I'll look for a late year 997 variant next, not sure what though.
