Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the multifunction tiptronic steering wheel part number 997.612.637.00?

i have wiring diagrams for 997.1. not sure if the actual wheel is on there (or if you even have a 997.1) but i do see steering column, "Tiptronic" on one or 2 of the diagrams etc. if you want, i can email the pdf to you.

FWIW, the MF functions are handled by an electronic module under the airbag. Here is a photo of mine when I opened it.

Thanks Ken,
I'm thinking that module is going to be removed and the wires run direct to another controller for the stereo. I could be wrong. It would be nice to be able to use it as-is but I believe that module works through the CAN network for the whole car. My car doesn't have a Controller Area Network so I'm going to have to modify a few/lot of things to make my project work.

I know this is an old thread, but I am planning on fitting a 997.1 tiptronic MF steering wheel to my 2002 996. I got a 997 clock spring that has lots of connectors so I have options for wiring. I got the adapter so the steering wheel will fit on my car and am looking at a tiptronic steering wheel with airbag and can bus controller. I'll be hooking up the steering wheel controls to a Pioneer Avic 8200. I was going to connect the steering wheel controller directly to a can bus interface (that claims it knows the 997.1 steering wheel canbus messages--link to that interface: http://www.connects2.com/Product/ProductItem/CTSPO005.2 ) that plugs into the Avic 8200.

What did you end up doing to get your MF controls working and did you ever get that wiring diagram?

Thanks!
