Great place to buy two 997.2 gems
I just traded in my '09S towards a '13 Maserati GTS coupe. My friend traded in the same '09S for a GTS as well. That being said, mine was traded in w/ 6,500 miles and my friends w/ 3,000. Cars are mint to say the least, so if any are in the market, you can look there and be rest assured you are getting a great vehicle. We traded in for $65k and you can expect to pay low $70s for them at dealership. Contact Eric Blake the sales manager at Maserati on the Main line in Philly. Thanks Rick,
I thoroughly enjoyed owing the C2S and just felt after 4 years, it was time for a change. I wanted to go Italian exotic, so the GTS fit that bill well for me!

Thanks guys! I just came back from my first run and WOW! I tantalizes all the senses for sure! The '13 underwent many mods, one in particular is the 3 stage sport exhaust. In normal it sounds real good, sport sounds great and sport plus outrageous! The epitome of the exotic sounding Italian exhaust! Power band is very different, in that it's all delivered immediately down low, where as the P-cars are all about revving. Handling, comfort, fit and feel are first rate. I am very happy!
I might have misunderstood the trade question above. If the question was about why I didn't sell privately, here is the reason. The MSRP on the Maserati was $132k plus tax. If I was to sell privately, I could have fetched an easy $70-$72k, however, then I was going to have to pay sales tax on the full value of the Maserati. Trading it in for about $6k less was a wash, becasue I paid that much less on taxes on the difference. I bought the car for $105,500, so paid tax only on $45k. This way, i broke even and got the Porsche immediately off my hands and into a secure buyer. No worries!

Your new car looks beautiful. My friend owns a Maserati grand tourismo and he loves it. The two things about his car that really impressed me was the exhaust note and the fit and finish of the interior.
Enjoy the ride

My cousin own a GTS and it's very nice. Beautiful car with plenty of room. That said, I find the Porsche more "fun" to drive and I'm faster than him. Congrats. The sound on the GTS is awesome.

My brother owns a GTS. His seats aren't as nice as yours, but his is terracotta red interior (white exterior, with gunmetal gray wheels) and it is simply stunning. Classic lines and very sexy. The exhaust is something Porsche needs to take note.
Enjoy it. Beautiful.
I think this will also be my next car, although I am curious about the upcoming Maser's new GranSport, too.

Thanks again for all the comments above! To address a few of them, yes I think I will get over 2k a year on the clock this time. haha
I think the experiance I am having from driving an Exotic, will not wear off for a looooong time, if ever.
Exhaust note in sport plus, is outstanding!
The new Maserai GS coming out is someting to watch, it's going to be in the $90-$100k range. Basically to compete w/ the likes of entry level Carreras, etc.
Here is a cool test vid of the GTS, that really captures what the newly remodled '13 is about.
