My brother is getting PPI done on that car today. It's kind of funny, but he went to buy an R8, could easily write a check for a new Aventador... but chooses the 6 yr old $40k P-car.... Why? B/c it's so fun to drive and has that classic P-car looks

I agree with the OP. The Carrera S is more fun at sane speeds than the turbo. I am definitely keeping mine despite having turbos/GT3's as well. I like the narrower body as well especially when every 911 seems to be getting wider and wider. The sport exhaust is a must have.

The C2S is fun at all speeds.
It doesn't have to be the fastest to be the most fun.
Pin point steering and that lovely music out the backside when reving.
Can't help but smile.

I like the 991 a lot. That said, I don't think $40k more for 991 is going to make me much happier. I would be sad to fall backwards to 996.
Like Jimmy Carter, I've experienced lust in my heart. The new GT3!!
Still love the 997.

I thought about a Turbo when I bought mine, but I have a Shelby Mustang for my Power crave, since I bought the Porsche I do not really drive the Shelby. I still like it, but the 911 has more usable power for sure. I love the Turbo's, but there is something about the NA that drew me in. I agree the Steering is amazing.
