That turned out great. Thank you for the DIY and hopefully it cools down a bit before you melt or loose anymore cells

You have more guts than me, I had to pay someone else to do it. I want to see the red gauges...

I don't know about that... sounds like you've been deployed in some pretty "gutsy" environments over yonder. Not sure what you do but I'm grateful you guys are out there looking out for those of us here on the home front. BTW, my wife screamed and broke down in tears when she saw this during the 3rd rad install.

She thought I had broken the Porsche and would never be able to put it back together again. Her next door neighbor and GF thought I had traded the Carrera in for different car. Too funny! the more I work on this thing the more I'm fascinated by how well it's put together... I'm only a fourth German but I do feel that little sense of pride every time I drive or crack the car open to take a look inside... BTW, would be great to see a pic of your car's interior. I'm always looking for ideas on what to MOD next.

Nice bike hanging on the wall. Any mods on that?

Did you fix the PSM failure? Where is the beer?

Thanks for noticing... that's my old Felt 55 roady. Mods have been fairly minimal on it since it came with the Dura-Ace comp grp for the most part and nothing has failed broken yet. Felt did cheap out on the brakes so I upg to a set of Ultegra's... plenty good w/o going over the cliff on cost for the Dura-Ace brakes. Other than that I have a set of Time iClic caroflex pedals on her. She rides like a dream and deserves much better than I can dish out. To be honest I don't race anymore so she's been relegated to training duty. I even put an Italia C2 gel seat on her for added comfort... middle-age sucks somethings. Plus all my MOD Money has been going into the Red Queen.

PSM cleared itself after driving the car part way down my street... Took her for a spirited drive after the install. No issues except I still need to set the clock. The belts definitely added + 1 HP... verified by ye-ole butt dyno! And, of course, my boys and I ended the day with a celebratory Biergarten.

Remove the seat belt collar by pulling the rear most part of it up and the entire unit out. Note this is the driver side as I had a clearer pic of the rear tab. The rest of the pics are of the passenger side.

In removing the plastic piece at the top of the rear panel, can you do this without removing the pillar cover? I'm just interested in removing the rear panel to access the speaker. Looks like I can see the screw without removing the plastic piece and risking breaking it. Is that possible?

Possibly although I did not have any issues removing the pillar cover. It easily snap out and back in w/o breaking any tabs. GL and let us know how it goes.

Hmm. Looks like that top piece will need to come out as the clip goes in from the top. Question is, does the clip for the plastic piece just attach to the door panel? If so, then it just comes out with the door panel - no need to remove it separately for my purposes.

Thanks for this awesome DIY! I just scored a set of OEM guards red set belts (fronts only) on eBay. This DIY will come in very handy. I don't have a matching set for the rears so I plan to delete them. It's never used anyway. So far I haven't found a DIY on it yet so I may be on my own on that one. Unless someone here can point me to one.

Glad the DIY posting helps and congrats on the red belts. I don't have red belts in the back either as I rarely use the back seats for anything other then luggage. At some point I may tackle the rear belts as well just for consistency. GL with the project and keep us posted.

I found this useful link in case you decide to tackle the rears later.
