997 S Wheel cleaning
I decided this morning to WASH THE CAR ('06 997S Cab. Guards/Black)
It had been a while since this is the "Rainy" season in S FL, a little rain just about every day, and if you don't live here...sunny sky + 10 minutes = Rain +10 minutes = sunny....so, today was the day, beautiful day a 9AM, all I can say is I HATE THE WHATEVER YOU CALL THEM LOBSTER CLAW WHEELS.
1 hour to clean the wheels, including moving the car 2 x to reach in!
1/2 hour to wash and dry the car including vacuuming....
My next (actually it's HER'S) car will only be bought if I can "control" what wheels it has...something EASY TO CLEAN.
THEN just as I finished...RAIN...so into the garage, and today's SUNDAY LUNCH via BMW .... dirty...
My 01 Z3 takes 1/2 hour to wash, clean wheels and vacuum....
OK, I'm finished BITCHING (and putting band aids on the backs of my hands)
Tnx For listening.....daniel

Go to the Car Salon on Commercial between Dixie and Federal. A drive through - hand wash. They do a great job on my Sport Design rims which are miserable to clean. They always look great when those guys get done with them.

It gets in all the holes and has enough reach to get the inside of the rim clean. Has a rubber tip on the end and a wooden handle so you can use it aggressively without fear of scratching your rims. Makes cleaning them MUCH easier. The rubber tip on my brush is coming off though - so keep an eye on it. Even so, for $6(?) it's well worth it. Does not take an hour to do my rims.

P.S. Lobster forks, not claws.
