I finally found this thread! Sweet shots Derek!!

What did I tell you man?!! The car looks so badass!! The concave gunmetal
against the deep red exterior and hint of tan interior is such a nice
combo!!

Next, let's talk suspension!! (I kid!!!)

Ruby Red Metallic. Not many out there. I've seen two others since I've had it.

Lol. Thanks J! Yes, I am a convert now. I wasn't sold on them when I got them, but have grown to love them in the past couple of weeks. No suspension mods for this guy. I already rub the front spoiler on the driveway. Gives me an excuse not to spend more dough

Thank You,

I have a 2009 Ruby Red and want to ditch the stock wheels. I was searching for some pics of alternatives and my instincts were pointing me to gun metal gray. I think black is just too extreme for this color.

Question: It looks like the gun metal gray matches closely with the plastic trim pieces such as the intakes and wheel wells. Yes? No? Comments?

Pics of my 2009 with stock wheels here - looks like you have Natural Brown leather also:

Hey Bruce,

Nice car

I wouldn't say they match, as the plastic bits are black (or are supposed to be black).

Derek I'm moving back to Toronto end of next week so next Porsche meet let me know. I'll also check with Jakob as to when the next meet is...I'd like to see the setup in person.

Loving the color of your car! I was thinking of buying Carmona Red before my Lapis Blue Carrera but at the end of the day the deal on my car was killer.

Good luck with the move Cam! I'm sure it's a logistical nightmare.

Cars and coffee meets happen every Saturday. A few of us meet during the week, and go for a boot. Not so much this year, but quite a bit last year. I'm sure we'll start again soon.

Carmona red....never seen it before. Googled it. Looks interesting. Ruby Red wasn't my first choice, but as you said...killer deal! I do love the Ruby Red though.
