Check Eric at BumperPlugs, they got ur paint colored plugs for removing the lame wiper and covering up the hole

I spoke with Eric a month or so ago. He offers the plug for 996 cars, not 997. On the 996 the wiper comes out of the body, on the 997 it comes out of the windshield.

Its a handy feature in snow country--it speeds up the precip. removal process. The vast number of Americans won't ever use it. But keep in mind these cars are in a global marketplace.

No Rear Wiper for me. I prefer to wipe it myself, thank you!

Too much fuss, I don't mind mine at all, comes in handy in traffic, in the rain!
