My poor car

It's time to hire a few locals to picket their dealership... I'm sure you'll be able to find a few would be actors on craigslist in Hollywood to do the deed. GL and keep us posted.

Based on some informantion as to how one of our Porsche members has been treated as to the purchase of a vehicle that was misrepresented as to it's true condition word is getting out not to trust or do business with your dealership. If a Porsche dealer cannot be trusted we then have major problems.

Thanks!
It will be interesting to see how they react. To date they have shown no regard for anything other than their bottom line. They misrepresented the car, they lied to Porsche NA about resolving the matter, they lied to the potential buyer of my trade-in and they lied to my restorer/detailer about the condition of my trade-in.
Hardly the behavior of somone who care about FB and Yelp status

Lozzy - I'll admit that this post is somewhat selfish.
But...please, please, please go after these guys, and don't quit.
Kickstarter? I'll contribute. Seriously.
When guys like this succeed, it's bad for everybody. It's bad for us owners. It's bad for the dealers who are honest. (Yes they exist.) It's bad for the brand. It's like a big 'tax' on decency / honesty.
If dishonesty becomes the norm, we all lose. Big time.
So PLEASE, go the distance with these guys. Take 'em to the mat.
Good luck.

Thanks, the support helps. I'd still like to think the industry is good, I'm an enthusiast, I love cars and everything about them. I gave these people a chance and all they've done is abuse that. I'm angry, nothing to do with the money, just the unfairness of it all. Heck I sat on the phone and described the nick where the fuel filler cap on the Ferrari just catches the paintwork when it springs open, and that guy sat there telling me his car was perfect. I agree they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it and regardless of how this works out I hope they learn a lesson and at least hesitate before they try to rip the next person off.

Just got the attached from the dealer after i posted on the Facebook page! Remeber you have to go to the top and get pissed! The management of Beverly Hills Porsche always works to find a reasonable solution when a customer is dissatisfied. That's why we've been around so long and have so many repeat customers. Perhaps you would like to have your friend call John at 310-557-2472.Like · Reply · 5 minutes ago...

The John they are referring to is John George. I spoke to him last week. He wanted to speak to my restorer/detailer and when the problems were described he started to get defensive, then nasty, then he started making false claims about the state of my trade-in (which aced a Ferrari PPI according to the potential buyer who tracked me down). So no, I won't be speaking to him again.

And for the dealership, it's impossible to understand what the reasoning is behind this epic PR fiasco. Let's say it would cost them 10K to take back your GTS and restore it to where it should be. Then add the 10K they hoped to make on the sale of your 430. That's 20K assuming they would sell the GTS just to break even and be done with it once it's fixed. Put that up against almost 6,000 views of this thread and now the added facebook exposure. I bet good money they've lost a lot more than 20K in future sales and service as a result of this stupidity. Also, all the honest dealers must cringe as they follow your journey here. No matter how hard they try, a horror story like this only reinforces the notion that the business is dirty and always was.
