Well good thing I never agreed to stop saying bad things about BHP because I will certainly continue. Was the final compensation OK?

It depends on your definition of "OK." My guess is that it failed some definitions, and met others. Now let the man enjoy his GTS!

I took some pics of of the wrapped car, hope this link works. Let me know if not and I'll try another means.

So did the check clear? Wouldn't put it past these dolts to top this whole thing off with a bad check. And demanding that you stop saying "bad things" about them in order to get paid only hammers home what we already knew: Whoever is in charge of this sad and sorry Porsche dealership is a special kind of arrogant moron.

This thread is going on 4 months, 53 pages and almost 76,000 views. The time for BHP to save face came and went a long time ago but even a belated effort would have looked better than more attitude. Instead of handing you a check with a simple, sincere apology, they couldn't help themselves but had to attach completely useless conditions. Keep your promise and let it go. Thousands of others will keep giving them all the bad press they deserve. Wrap looks fantastic btw. Now enjoy it!

Just found this thread and wish I'd seen it months ago. One of the cars I'd been following on AutoTrader was a 2011 997.2 C4S from BHP with less than 2500 miles on it. CPO and price had been dropped significantly but it disappeared from AT while I was researching alternatives. Was kind of kicking myself at not jumping at it but am happy I didn't act on it now.
On the other hand, seeing the support Lozzy got from here made me feel really good about wanting to enter the Porsche community ...

Default Thanks

Thanks for bringing this to the front of the list. I just read through the entire thread. I would be interested to hear how it is going for him now.

Wow, I had no idea this was going on. My wife and I drove up the BHP to look at an advertised P car.
We had checkbook in hand. I was in shorts, a tee shirt and slippers. We were completely ignored. Not even looked at. After 10 minutes or so, we left. I am so glad we did.
I am glad it ended somewhat ok for the OP.

The wrap is a band aid fix - BHP has lost customer trust big time after this story.

I look forward to dropping by their dealership next time i'm in LA to remind them why I purchased elsewhere.

It does look really good. I have to ask. Why do you still have a BHP license plate frame on the car?

Maybe he had to as part of the settlement Remember he had to promise to stop saying bad things about BHP.

also grad this got revived to know NEVER do business with BHP. I think a link to this thread should be on every forum. The wrap really did turn out great. The detailed work around the door handle is very impressive.

Wow just spent some time reading the entire post. Truly disgusting. This should be cross posted in every forum and made a sticky. Will never do business with the scumbags at BHP a day in my life. Human garbage.

Just read this thread front to back. I am sorry for your troubles Lozzy. I will be sure to avoid Beverly Hills Porsche at all costs.

The refusal to receive certified mail was the icing on the cake. What a bunch of scumbags.

Wow I just read bits and pieces from this long thread, was Porsche ever made aware of this? I would think I would go directly to the company and state how this forum has many Porsche owners and word gets around when garbage like this happens.
