DAB radio antenna- European members only up t9 a metal part of the car
Hi all,
I have a DAB radio antenna which I would like to install. As I’d see it, it has two elements apart from the main block; the main antenna which is a thin wire approximately 8 cm long and clearly sticks to the windscreen. The other element is copper and T-shaped. what I need to know is whether the later component needs to be stuck to a metal part of the car? - which I suspect..
…”!
anyone fitted one?

Also DAB aerials are polarised so the long bit of the aerial should be pointing up for the best signal. (I ignored this and put mine horizontally as there’s still a horizontal bit - it works most of the time but does cut out quite readily).
