Still waiting on EMC2 to get those skirts sorted to beef up the rear end

Anyone else actually prefer the base tail pipes to the quad arrangement of the S/aftermarket? Quite organic if you ask me, and really fill in the bumper.

the oval pipes are way more suitable to the car and more organic when it is a carrera and not spoilered up GT3. I loved that design ever since I first time saw this idea on RS6 in 2003 or smth. Im very happy Porsche decided this is “base” as my car has them. Turbo, after all, also has single large diameter ones and I prefer that too. I always thought the quads were an M5 thing anyway since late 90s.

here is my macadamia metallic brown porsche in sunlight. And this is dirty unpolished tired 9 years old paint!

I don't particularly like the OEM dual round tips or the PSE tips for that matter, but think the aftermarket versions of those, like the Fabspeeds look superb.

On my wife's car that has a Vorsteiner rear bumper that makes the bottom of the bumper stick out more, the stock tips were too short. Ended up finding some oval stainless tips on ebay that were longer and very appropriate for the opening size.

Very slick. Amazing how the 997 lends itself to different looks depending on the wheels. The lipped wheels, to me, always add some character. with a nod to the old school 911s.
