Sad indeed, that's why I don't put it away for the winter, drive it all year round. We have plenty of nice sunny days in the winter. On the local PCA FB, people are talking about parking it until spring. It's ridiculous, we get like 3 or 4 snow days in the city, it's been a sunny 60's and 70's in Nov, not much changes in Dec. It's like having a hot wife and not using her. lol

thank you, the color is Gaurds red.
its nothing u cant order from factory, the clear rear lights, car came with original turbo wheels, in RED! interior is also red, with yellow dials and seat-belts, all the bells and whistles. carbon trim, but not fully carbon, and not fully leather, the roof for example is alcantara. ill try to get some interior shots. some of the carbon is falling apart thanks to the previous owner letting it sit in our hot sun here in Kuwait.

Wanted to post a few pictures of my still new to me C2 after its first round of "mods". I just installed a 991 SPASM lip and clear side markers. In my opinion it's amazing how OEM the 991 lip looks on a 997.2.
Anyway, here are some c@ppy iPhone shots of my car. Though the last one is awfully dark, I thought it was cool the way the light in my office parking garage highlighted the lip. My eventual objective for the car is to achieve an OEM+ look. Basically, a car that looks totally OEM at a glance, but with enough subtle improvements that car guys/gals will know it's not stock. So far I've just done clear side markers and the lip. Next up, come spring-time, are spacers and a modest drop (keeping the 4X4 stance for the snowy months). After that I'll focus on weight reduction and improving the exhaust note. I've already done the rear seat delete, which saves ~30lbs according to my bathroom scale (accuracy highly questionable), and has the convenient side benefit of making much easier to fit kids car seats in the back. I also plan to do the Sharkwerks center muffler bypass and Gundo hack, and source a good set of light, 18" forged wheels which - together with the center exhaust delete - should yield another ~30-40 lbs of weight savings. After that cost/benefit on further weight reduction gets sketchy, but I think a case can be made for some lightweight brake rotors when my OEM ones need replacement and maybe a smaller, lighter battery given that the car lives indoors both at home and at the office.
