I got a Fidelity Platinum 7 yr 100,000 miles w/ $100 deductible for $4,500. Then got the same coverage for $4,350 on my brothers car about 4 months later. Both cars had <10K miles on them.

I traded a bmw 335i, a 1999 boxster, and a 2009 cayman in on my 997 Carrera and couldn't be happier. I can't imagine how big of a difference there will be between the minivan and the 911.

I'd delete the extended warranty from your option list. Most people lose on the warranty deal, otherwise they couldn't stay in business. I considered the warranty on my '04 Boxster but decided against it and I had exactly -0- repairs in 6 years of ownership and 30K miles. Invest in Apple instead of Fidelity and I think you'll come out ahead.

2005997carrera2,
windows rolled down and smiling ear to ear vs wearing dark sunglasses, cap and hoodie

KLS,
thanks for the financial advise but it's hard to get the anxiety out for a first timer. but i might consider it this time around. i'm currently under negotiations with different car and the obstacle betweent the agreement is i wanted it 2.5K++ less w/ CPO or w/out CPO. the car still has 2more years on its original factory warranty.

ECS Tuning,
Never reached PPI. Luckily, found another one a day after the deal fell off might be close to your location @ beachwood porsche.
