OEM 997 Turbo filler panel takes care of this problem, and looks great. i believe it is the same panel Porsche used on the Sport Classic. i did it on mine, very simple, just 4(?) screws on the outside, and 2 nuts on the inside secure the panel.

FYI, if you decide to go this route, when taking the carpeted interior piece out from under the rear window to get to the 2 nuts, you WILL break some of the clips securing the carpeted piece in place. be sure to buy some from the dealer before you tackle this job. i bought 6 just to have on hand, they were less than $2 each if i remember correctly.

I have my Misha Design ducktail installed, the fit is perfect right out of the box. That said, I have noticed that at 75mph (legal in Texas) the ducktail has more downforce than the OEM pop-up spoiler so I now am looking for a small front splitter/spoiler. I would prefer flexible black plastic as it will take dings. Anyone have suggestions?
