Exactly the same with me. Have noticed the little round "bubble" marks and wondered what the heck that could be from.

This happens to me as well but the beauty of having a cab is the windows are already down almost all the time! In winter I will be singing a different song I guess...

I have the same round mark. My assumption was that this is caused by a component inside the door that comes in contact with the window to keep it from rattling.

Glad to know this is a thing. I get the streaks on my 2011 C4 and feared the worst. If it's just some internal lubricant transferring to the windows, I can live with that. Still, would think this is a part of QA for the car while in production.

Cabs with a different issue than the Coupes. I guess the window glides/holders are of a different design on the Cabs.

Clearly this is an ongoing problem with the 997's and 991's. Its' completely unacceptable in a car that costs this much. My dealer "cleaned" the window channel, so they said. I don't think Braman Porsche in West Palm Beach does even half of the work they claim to do.

Btw, I get these ridiculous streaks on D & P windows. Really pisses me off.

My PO had both D and P window regulators replaced because of the streaks. And now that I own the car I still get streaks. like others I simply keep a microfiber rag and eye glass cleaner in the glove box to clean it up if I ever roll down the windows and get streaks. Soldier on, friends.

It is quite common with power windows that don't pull up fully due to friction. I had some kind of "Vaseline-like" substance in the window seals on my Porsche when I bought it.

After washing the car I had streaks the whole time. Maybe this is the cause?

It had similar on my previous company car. Windows automatic function failed due to resistance/friction. Mechanic did the same with the Vaseline-like substance.

Had em since I have owned the car. Micro-fiber towel is my fix.

I've been wondering the same thing after washing the car this weekend, then ending up with streaks hours later after rolling my windows all the way down, then later back up. For me it is right in the middle of both driver and passenger windows. 09 coupe.
