The part number I see is 9A1 602 104 01. If you order from Suncoast Parts they will verify it for you.

The coils are different for the 997.1 and the 997.2. The correct part numbers for the 997.1 is 99760210400 and the part number for the 997.2 is 9A160210405.

I was hoping someone could direct us to a bosch number so we could buy these items from bosch directly and hopefully a lot cheaper than from either stealer or suncoast. Kinda like we know that the spark plugs are 5nqeo for bosch and we could buy from any bosch outlet. Yes coil packs for the 997.1 and .2 are different. For the .1 bosch number is bic016

We could then go to qny bosch dealer and simply state the bic016 and get the same coil as the dealer would give for a 997.1. Im also confident it will be cheaper.

Even a beru number would suffice. We could then find equivalents. For those who have replaced 997.2 coils these numbers are on top of the coil packs. I think oem is beru.

Here's the new OEM part number. Don't know why you'ld want to use non-oem - the savings can't possibly be that much plus doesn't Porsche warranty its parts?

I agree jhb, but where i am porsche parts are almost 2 times more expensive than in the us. There is a bosch supplier. Example would be spark plugs, porsche dealer around $40 each bosch dealer around $7 each. This is why.

OEM vs. Beru about $1 price difference.

Reviving an old thread. Here is a photo of an original coil pack that came on my 2009 997.2 C2S.

Porsche P/N 9A1 602 104 02

Thanks DG and lurch. This certainly would help in the quest for the equivalent bosch number.
