Since I see couple of gorgeous Arctic Silver cars here, I think it might be interesting to compare thesed two paints. I found the following info in an old thread:
Courtesy of Eric The Plug Guy.
PORSCHE
L92U
ARKTISSILBER-MET.
BRILLANTSILBER EXTRA (bright silver) 51%
MICROSILBER EXTRA (silver) 42%
SPEZIALSCHWARZ (special black) 3%
LASURSCHWARZ (black) 1.5%
MICROWEISS (white) 1%
WEISS (white) < 1%
LASURBRILLANTROT (brilliant red) < 1%
BRILLANTBLAU (brilliant blue) < 1%
===================
PORSCHE
LM7Z
GT-SILBER-MET.
PERLWEISS (white pearl) 36%
BRILLANTSILBER EXTRA (silver) 44%
SPEZIALSCHWARZ (special black) 7%
PERLFEINWEISS (white pearl) 10%
PERLRUBIN (ruby pearl) 2%
DUNKELBLAU (dark blue) 1%
So those two colors although look similar are indeed made very differently.

Congrats on a quick start!
This is my first porsche and like with my other cars worth modding bimmers, Z cars, etc. I tend to learn the car vs my needs first. Once I see what is my wishes and understand the shortcomings of a factory designs with regard to what I want from a car then I decide on the list to work on. For now I am enjoying the car and not ready yet to move to mods, as it then leaves me with no option to understand the original factory design intends. If I were to track it today, then it would be different story. For street use I am steel in my learning time. The above is true for more serious engine and suspension/aero mods. Some of the smaller mods (mostly done for looks) like clear markers, small wing (e.g. techart type I) etc. might come in sooner. No rush on my side.
It also leaves me with an option to buy a different car (up the lineup) if and when I see a need as opposed to heavy modding. If I were to race it seriously my approach to modding would've been quite different.
Anyway, I am sure what you have decided to do was exactly what was on your priority list and I know how satisfying it is to have it done. Enjoy it!
