101k on 2005 C2 (November 2004 build)
I autocross this car - it is not pampered. Entirely factory (no mods). Almost driven daily - typical trip is 10-15 miles, but I've driven as much as 500 miles in a day.
Here's all the non-maintenance work done to the car in case you're wondering how reliable a very early 997.1 is...
Batteries are obviously a maintenance item, but I included the batteries because battery life can be an issue for some.
My 1986 Toyota 4x4 SR5 has more miles, though (original owner). Indestructible. New radiator every 60k miles - that's the only unusual maintenance required. I like vehicles that haul - either a** or stuff.

Interesting insight, what would you say was the cost of all the non sched work?

Long story short, the engine failure was probably an IMS failure, which manifested as an oil scavenging pump failure. There's a long and detailed history that I posted, complete with photos of the failure at
https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...p-failure.html
I battled with PCNA for 2 months since my car was well out of warranty. They finally replaced my motor with a new crate motor.
I've thought long and hard about doing the LN Engineering IMS Retrofit, and will probably do it when I need a new clutch or RMS. As a stop-gap measure, I want to put in the IMS Guardian Jr Universal Kit. Maybe the 160F low-temp kit.
Admittedly, I pamper the engine and keep the revs under 4k for the first 10 minutes until the oil is up to operating temperature, just to insure that everything is properly lubricated before driving "normally". ;-)
Of course, it might be easier to just trade in my 2005 for a 2009 or later (no more IMS) and not worry about the IMS. The kids will be older, too - right now my C2 serves as a mini-van, complete with stroller and baby seat in the back.

2010 C2S convertible (PDK) bought new in March of 2010. Just passed 15,000 miles last weekend.
I stored the car at my second home in Florida for the first three years of ownership, and would only be able to make it down there for about two months each year. After selling my Florida home in March of 2013, the car had about 7,500 miles on it. I've been trying my best to make up for lost time in the past 1.75 years though

2010 C4S - I'm 2nd owner purchased Sept 2013 with ~19K miles.
It is my daily driver and now has ~32K miles and has been a great car.
Car had new tires when I bought it.
My expenses on the car have been for:
- new wheels and snow tires (it is fun to drive in the snow)
- new battery
- new windshield wipers
- new brake pads all around
- scheduled maintenance and oil changes every 5K

'06 Carrera S with 40k, '08 Carrera 4S with 35k. Neither are daily drivers; it's ALL for fun. No major failures, just a wet RMS on the '06 in 2011. My dealer split the repair cost.

Bought my 2010 C4S last September with 35K. Passed 40K driving South to LA today (bumpy 101 heading into Morgan Hill so the attached photo is rough). Will pass 41K by Sunday night. No problems other than a flat tire that was flagrantly my fault. Fine by the 2 previous owners as well. Will do the 40K service myself next weekend.
