Porsche Roof Transport System: where to get copy a spare key
 

So I just purchased a second-hand Porsche Roof Transport System and Thule Ski Racks from a local guy here in Chicago. Everything was included and the install was seamless.

However, he could only find one set of keys for the Porsche RTS and Thule racks. I know that Thule offers key replacements via their websites for $2.50. It is stamped on the Thule Ski Rack key as N109. However on the RTS system, the key is stamped “090.”

There is not replacement key offered in the RTS via the Thule website. However, I was thinking if the N090 key would work with the Porsche RTS or is the key completely proprietary. I already went to a couple lock smiths and they told me they have never seen a key that looked like that nor do they have the blank to cut it from.

I would like to have a spare just in case…what is the best option? Anybody else look into this?
