That's the lowest I've seen, although it was a bit on the higher milage.
Its not that bad. This is considered higher mileage and its not an S. Probably a good but not outrageous price. We also dont know options, condition etc.

Hi

Great thread topic ( for me at least ) - have to replace my Corvette ...by spring...

For Mark Harris ....Porsche sales ,,,, >>> http://www.goodcarbadcar.net/2011/01...s-figures.html a real handy site ...

For Rodsky .... here are some links of guys who bought a NEW Porsche for HUGE discount .... so depreciation can also be BIG .... we just need another 'market crash' ...which if you read zero hedge or similar seems to be coming faster than one might think...
https://rennlist.com/forums/9884799-post17.html MSRP$104 paid $86
http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...ml#post3655810 17% off MSRP
http://www.planet-9.com/club-911-gen...tml#post659884 post#16 talks about $20k off MSRP
http://www.whatcar.com/car-depreciat...ditionId=18202 this link is from the UK - but ggod graph on depreciation....

My question -- would the manheim auction be a good indicator of the prices needed to be paid ...? Sure be nice is we have some kind member that had access to Manheim to post updates ...

I purchased a 2010 C2S with 4500 miles & CPO for $78K in July 2012 which I thought was an excellent buy. The car was immaculate and I couldn't be happier.

I was one - I bought my 2009 new MSRP $104 for around $87k. However, that was 2009. Its not happening right now. 3 years later - my 2009 C2S has held its value fairly well. Its still worth around $65K? C2S 18K miles.

You cannot buy a 2012 for 30% off - 2013's are out. There is no 30% depreciation on first year 911's.

Now if there's another crash - all bets are off.

Saw a great 2011 GTS for $91K at Walters. Someone on this site said it was his trade in and they gave him more than that in trade on a 991. So call it $90K for a 2011 GTS
It's a 2012 not an 11 making it an even better looking deal.

The car at Walter's has 4500 miles and is spotless. Sticker $113 and sell of $91.

Bought from Intersport in Va. Had been there for a few months, not really sure why. Perhaps because of the high mileage. It now has 3k more than it did 3 months ago, that should tell you what I think about mileage concerns.
Clean PPI, needed oil change and brake fluid flush. Tires middling, expecting to replace soon (so I'll have gotten 4 k miles out of the existing set)
Options -
267 Self Dimming Mirrors
342 Heated Seats
419 19" Carrera S II wheel
446 Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
541 Seat Ventilation
603 Dynamic Cornering Lights
619 Bluetooth Interface for Mobile Phone
680 BOSE High End Sound Package
686 XM Radio
810 Floor Mats in Interior Color
P15 Power Comfort Seats with Driver Memory
XFJ Instrument dials in Carrara White
XPV 3-Spoke Multi-function Steering Wheel in Aluminum Look
XSC Porsche Crest in Headrests

Condition is good, but not pristine, as you'd expect for 30 k miles. One (now 2) owner car. It was the lowest price that I'd seen. Mileage makes a ridiculous difference. I was looking for a .1S, but this wasn't too far out of my budget. Right color, options...

Is 33k for an '09 high mileage ?!?

Consider that low mileage cars have not been shaken out... no wonder PCNA loves north-american customers who do not drive their cars and only see warrantable issues once the warranty expires.

I too grabbed a CPO 2010 C2S with Sport Chrono, Adaptive Sport Seats, Nav, iPod integration, 6 speed manual, clear bra, never a front plate (my requirement lol), for $79K in Jun 2012 from Fairfield Porsche in CT. It had 5500 miles and it was pristine. Still smelled like a brand new car
Car is white with black interior.

For what it may be useful, I paid 18% below MSRP on a new 2012 C4GTS. It had been sitting at the dealership 5 months and it is a manual, though.

Did you get it from Omar Hilmi? He is a family friend of mine...

This and the others are all great data points.

Who did you work with at Fairfield? Would you recomend them and/or the dealership?

^ I would absolutely recommend them. I began the deal over the phone. They agreed to a specific amount for my 2007 C2S as a trade. Only then did I drive out there, 2 hours, to see their car. They knew I was coming so they cleaned it up and brought it inside the showroom. Robert Zaleski was the salesman.
They are a class act.
I do have an absolute horror story about another Porsche dealer in the Hartford area. I will never buy a car from them again.
