Opinion on Center Caps for My Ruf Reps
No worries as I'd never put Ruf center caps on, but I bought a set of black caps and I wanted opinions on this versus the matching centers.
I first saw the setup on another car but with the 5-spoke Rinspeed wheels (similar to Ruf) and I liked them. I mounted them and I'm not sure, although I like the contrast and I think it goes with the monochromatic theme.
Anyway, just looking for opinions.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought about the boot and how the crest really pops against the black, and then how they would contrast off the grey metallic color of the wheels. I stared at it for a while with a "hmmm" look - LOL. I'll likely sport them for a while - good thing is I still have my grey centers.
Another forum member with a black 997 also bought a set and I thought this would set it apart. Thanks again.

I love the grey contrast with the black, and I'm not a fan of black wheels on a black car - to me, the design of the wheel gets lost and in the case of the Ruf design, I love the look of this wheel too much for that. I know others like that but it's just not for me.

Definitely the greys!
The blacks look like an afterthought...
I would consider the silver colored crests for your car, wether in black or grey background... I think the gold seems out of place...

I agree with you on the black with black, it makes the car look evil I like your silver better, i think I like both center caps, just swap them around and enjoy the wheels , heres a picture of my black 993 with black RUF's

Also did you get your wheels painted or did you order them from RAY already in that color?

Your car does look really great, however, all black is not for me. I love the gray metallic on my car with the black. I love the 993 and dude, your car is SICK and "evil" looking!

I bought them from Ray already painted. They come in black, gray, and silver.
I'd post on that thread but that's for 993's and original Ruf wheels, no?

Nice looking wheels. I like the splash of color that says Porsche...and it draws attention to the calipers. If going with the black crrests then may as well paint the calipers black, too.
