Default 5MM Spacers on 20 inch rims ?

Hi folks.. Im looking at adding either 3MM (not sure those are even avail) or 5MM spacers on my Black Champion 20” Monolite forged wheels with rear 325 Pirelli P1 tires.

I also have the H&R lowering springs and lowered by 20mm ..

so the car is low and FAT .. anyone know if spacers would work ?.. I looked and not sure Id be rubbing ??

thanks Matt

3mm is sooooo small you would never notice. Frankly 5mm is too. If you are running 325s and lowered you are probably about as far out as you can go without rubbing. Can't really tell without a side profile photo.

Difficult to say but from what I saw in your album I would go with 3mm and not over 5mm. You can find 3mm here http://www.porscheshop.co.uk/acatalo...r_porsche.html
and http://www.design911.co.uk/fu/pt179_...Wheel-Spacers/
I would try to check the tire to fender clearance and unless sure start with 3mm ones.

Thanks.. That may be approached.. I'm bringing my car in .. Front Rotors are already shot.. Warranty job.. As they can't figure out why..only has 6k on the car..

I'll ask them to try both.. I'm a little worried on the 5mm myself

So.. Tell me.. What did you Supercharge on your car.. Very curious..
Seems we are also related Matte Black wise... Very nice

Thanks. Like your car looks. Do you painted it or wrapped?
Yep, try both spacers if you can. I guess you have 11.5 inch in the rear with your 325's but what is your offset? From what I read around about wide bodies, I think the max offset (on a lowered car) is around 34 to 35 with 11 inch wheels or 40 to 41 with 11.5 ones. In fact I currently have a similar "problem" on mine. Putted 20 inch techart formula in flat black a couple of days ago and asking myself if I can add extra spacers with some H&R's.
About the supercharger, I missed the power and the 'turbo *** kick' of my old 996TT so I installed a TPC supercharger (and rebuilt the engine at that occasion) It pulls harder than my previous TT (but more linear) even with PSM the 997 remains harder to drive in my opinion. With PSM off it behaves close to the turbo beetle I own, with a much better chassis of course.

Painted.. With special BASF Paint..
Thanks.. I'm at Porsche on Monday.. They will look at it.. They said the same thing.. It's the off-Set that will dictate the Spacers.. See what they say..

Thanks for the input.. I'll wait till Warranty wears off the engine before playing... I'm not as brave !!!

Assuming your Champions have the same offsets as mine you need 5mm up front and 7mm on the rears for the look you want. Rubbing has been a non-issue for me btw. See the link below.

Sandwedge and Matt, what width and offsets do you have on both front and rear? I'll do some maths..

I'm not sure on offset..
Champion 20” Monolite forged wheels RF67
Front 245/30 on 20 inch
Rear 325/25 on 20 inch

I have a scheduled oil change Monday.. I may get them to test a couple of different combinations..
Thx !!

Btw.. Is yours painted or wrap?.. Plus .. Is that an air vent a la GT3 on your car..like it

19" wheels. I think it's 8.5" width up front and 11.5" rear. No clue on the offset numbers but I do know they're different than stock. Probably about 8mm difference on the rears since 15mm spacers seem to produce the same result on stock wheels as 7mm does on Champion wheels.

Yep, I just saw that RG5's in 11.5 are 44 rear offset which is close to what you wrote. So I guess when you're talking about stock wheels you mean the Carrera sport ones in 11.5ET50, because with the Carrera II in 11ET51 it will be impossible.
Matt, yes mine is wrapped and with an original GT3 front bumper

Actually I wasn't talking about any particular stock wheel since I thought they were all the same offset. I know the width of the rears vary and I thought that was the only variable. Maybe not.
