Default anyone here from Switzerland?

I'm trying to find out how one checks if a car here has been in an accident before.

Sorry... I'm over here in Canada. Nice to meet you but I've no contacts in Switzerland. There must be a Swiss Porsche Association. Have you googled? This will give you a bump.

Yeah, no luck yet on google. It looks like this system doesn't exist here but just wanted to confirm.

I've just bought a 2007 C4S but I'm slightly suspicious because the front bumper is absolutely flawless...nary a scratch, let alone a single rock chip, yet there are a half dozen very tiny chips on the hood. The car had an A/C leak upon pick up (repair covered by dealer) and it got me wondering. Though I bought the car from the same dealer that sold it new (trade in on Cayenne turbo) so I would not suspect someone would have done that without reporting it during the sale (esp here in Switzerland--people are uber honest) also since he always brings his car to this same dealer for service. None of the paperwork shows an accident and this dealer has a stellar reputation. so maybe I'm just paranoid or there is some other explanation (e.g. is the paint softer on the bumper?). Otherwise the car seems to be well-cared for, even inside.

Why not contact your insurance agent and ask him what agencies in Switzerland track this information. As an expat who once lived in Geneva, I'm sure someone in the government is keeping tabs on this.
