Sorry to hear about your issue, same happened on my car, which has been determined to be a factory paint job:

Installer did nothing, other than offering a few words of condolence!! Porsche did nothing since the car is out of warranty, now I am left with fixing it for myself!

Well, I don't know if this is true or not but it does make me feel better for spending more to have PremierMobile do mine. Thanks!

i agree 99', if i had to do it all over again, i would have gone with the guy who quoted me $500 more than the installer i used, it would have saved me the nerve racking part of getting the hood redone.

the film they use today is incredible, when its applied properly and has no watermarking or irregularities, it is truly invisible.

tip: at a local marine store, pick up Plexus, pricey, but it is awesome to use on clearbras to clean and protect them. Typically used on plastic windscreens that enclose fly-bridges on boats.

Why not just forget the clear bra and if the front end gets too dinged up get it repainted.
Now days A good paint shop can match paint perfect even if the paint is faded.

Door dings unlikely....paint overspray is more of a risk the longer your car is there. If it's on your windshield it's on your paint.

My guess is they did not use a hair dryer, or did not get that area warm enough and it pulled off the paint.

Fun to hear the body shop is blaming the paint on the car for their mis-hap.

At first, he started to blame the fact that the bumper was not factory paint etc and thats why this happened...He saw that I was getting really annoyed so he offered to take it to his body shop to have it re-sprayed while I am on a business trip!

So luckily he is getting it fixed but he said I wont be able to put the clear bra back on for a couple weeks until the paint settles. Now I just hope the car doesnt get damaged more while I am on my business trip at the body shop (i.e. door dings) since I obviously have bad luck. You guys think I should call this body shop and warn them to keep the car somewhere on their lots where it wont get more damaged? I dont know anything about this body shop but supposingly he works on a lot of Porsches.
What product / manufacture film was used?

Not sure. the installer is pretty reputable in my area. Turns out the bumper was repainted. Not an issue anymore since I got a new car. ;-)
