If at first you don't succeed...
It only took three attempts to find and better yet buy my first Porsche.
Attempt 1: Car was clean, except DME showed that first owner treated the car like it was meant to stay at red line.
Attempt 2: Car checks out clean, negotiated great price, purchased plane ticket to fly out and complete transaction. Car gets rear ended.
Success on attempt 3... car checked out (DME & Paint Meter).
Flew down to San Antonio TX and drove it back! Road trip pictures found bellow...
Day 1 - Pick up & drive to Dallas
Ignore my awful parking job...
Day 2 - Dallas to Memphis
Rock chip proofing through use of Pepboys clear bra. Note, they ran out of clear so I had to improvise with smoke.
Obligatory picture of fried pickles from Memphis.
Day 3 - Memphis to Asheville NC
Scratch from someone at the hotel getting to close.
It consistently rained, every day.
Day 4 - Asheville NC to Washington DC
Night turns into day...
Essentials (V1 + Latest Garmin)
All cleaned up (clear bra hack removed)
Planned immediate maintenance...

Thanks guys. Yep, you can't go to Memphis without picking up some fried chicken and fried pickles!
We ate at Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken. I'm not sure if it's truly world famous but it sure was good.

Congrats on the new addition to the family. Great persistence... makes this one that more meaningful when you have to work for it. I negotiated on 11 vehicles before closing on the "one." Cool "aerial" like photo.

Props to you for actively using the cup holders. The only time mine ever come out is when my daughter accidentally bumps into the dash. (Funny about attempt #2. When I sealed the deal to sell my C2S there was about a 3 to 4 week period before we exchanged title/cash. I parked the car in the garage, regularly idling it for short periods, to avoid that type of occurrence. Reassuring to find that I wasn't being overly cautious and that "accidents" do happen.)

Thanks guys. I got the IMS, RMS and Clutch replaced. The IMS was pretty clean and in good condition although I found out my rear shocks are blown.
Lucky for me I picked up a used set which has under 2k miles on it. Now onto performing a DIY suspension swap...

Very nice car! And congratulations!
However, looking at picture #3 of the parking lot overhead shot; you done good finding a wide handicap spot to park next to, but you should have parked about 1.5 feet further towards the free space afforded by said handicap spot IMHO.
Now that you are acknowledging publicly that you embrace the results of hard work, success and own a P car you will be branded as a greedy, inheriting 1%'er by those who are several flakes short of a full box. There will be "accidental" retribution in most any parking lot you use so beware.
But you know all that............ ;-)

Haven't fixed the scratch yet since I need to order a more aggressive polish + pad. I did a full detail this past weekend and the scratch is now barely noticeable. My wife did quite a bit of driving and finally understands why I bought the car.
